In low- and middle-income communities, education is often the first sector to suffer after health.
Today, 70% of children cannot read and understand simple sentences by the age of ten. Many are forced to drop out of school to support their families or care for younger or vulnerable relatives.
What we do
By April 2020, nearly 1.6 billion children and youth were out of school globally, and 369 million children who relied on school meals had to seek alternative sources of daily nutrition.

Early Childhood Education: Building Strong Foundations
At the heart of our commitment to Quality Education is a simple truth: the earlier we invest in a child’s learning, the greater their chances of lifelong success. In collaboration with our partner, Little Flock in Egypt, we proudly support the following program:
- Little Seeds
Instead of missing out on their critical early years, children enrolled in our Smart Preschools benefit from enriching, structured environments that foster intellectual growth, build foundational literacy skills, and strengthen character. This approach equips them to enter primary school confident, curious, and ready to thrive.
Empowering Teachers and School Staff: Great Classrooms Begin with Great Teachers
Behind every thriving classroom is a well-equipped, inspired teacher. At LFA USA, we view the professional development of educators and school staff as a cornerstone of quality education. Through our tailored training programs, we equip teachers with:

Upgrade Education Facilities: Where Learning Comes to Life
Quality education begins with a quality learning environment. That’s why LFA USA invests in upgrading education facilities in several of the countries we support, including 🇱🇷 Liberia, 🇷🇼 Rwanda ,🇨🇮 Cote D’Ivoire, and ðŸ‡ðŸ‡° Hong Kong. Our efforts include:
- Constructing new schools in underserved communities
- Renovating worn-down classrooms
- Providing essential resources such as, uniforms, desks, blackboards, books, and digital learning tools
Every pencil, every chair, every safe roof over a child’s head is a step toward restoring dignity in learning.  By creating spaces where students feel safe, supported, and inspired, we are not just building schools, we are building futures.
Fueling Minds with Nutritious Meals
Hunger should never stand in the way of learning. In many of the communities we serve, children face daily challenges in accessing healthy, nutritious meals; challenges that have worsened in recent years as access to school meal programs has become increasingly limited. At LFA USA, we support regular food programs through:
- Daily school meals
- Quarterly feeding initiatives
- Community-wide food distribution campaigns
