In Assiut Governorate, where access to advanced neonatal equipment is limited, the presence of a functioning NICU can be the line between life and loss. NICU’s provide specialized respiratory support, temperature regulation, infection control, and round-the-clock monitoring; care that simply cannot be replaced by routine maternity wards.
This Giving Tuesday, Light for All USA is joining hands with partners to expand neonatal capacity in Upper Egypt, beginning with Assiut. Every contribution helps purchase incubators, phototherapy units, and essential supplies that keep newborns breathing, warm, and safe.
