About LFA
Who we are
At the heart of our world, where potential knows no bounds and opportunities should be as vast as the sky, stands LFA, our non-profit organization, dedicated to nurturing the seeds of tomorrow – our children and youth with their whole environement and aspects of lives.
- Our Vision
Spreading light for underserved communities to thrive with dignity and equality, and to have the power to shape their own lives and build a sustainable future.
- Our Mission
Empowering underserved communities through holistic, age-inclusive programs that foster long-term self-sustainability with a focus on education, healthcare, and gender equality.
What we do
- We Detect
In the face of numerous challenges in the underdeveloped regions of Egypt and Africa, we are dedicated to prioritizing key issues. By addressing these core problems effectively, we aim to have the most positive impact on the entire local communities.
- We Develop
People and Programs – the vital synergy between effective solution programs and individuals who will implement such programs within the community.
- We Partner
We partner with subject matter experts to develop sustainable programs that effectively address and solve the core issues we identify.
- We Train
Equipped with the right program, we provide training to local talents and empower them to take initiative in implementing solutions within their own communities.
- We Sustain
Our primary has always been to achieve long-term sustainability. Each program we develop and deliver is meticulously designed with the necessary elements to ensure such sustainability.
- We Consult
Due to the complexity of the problems we tackle, we established a dedicated advisory board for each project to provide guidance and support to the local teams responsible for independently implementing the program.
Our Main Causes
(According to UNICEF Reports)
Lack of Education in Egypt
Nearly 14 million children in Egypt lack access to education because of poverty and insufficient basic resources.
Living in Poverty
Over 40 million children residing in poverty-stricken African and Asian nations encounter similar challenges.
CEO Message
We all have dreams, and ours was to help children and orphans break the cycle of poverty through education. In September 2007, that dream became a reality with the founding of Light of Orphans, which was rebranded in 2025 as Light for All to reflect our expanded mission ofserving not only children, but also women and the elderly in underserved communities.
What began as a small initiative in Upper Egypt has grown into a global mission reaching nearly 600 villages across Egypt, Africa, and Asia. Our journey started with education, offering children the opportunity to learn, grow, and experience the joy every child deserves. We soon expanded to include hygiene programs, family literacy, and economic empowerment for parents, shifting from one-time aid to self-sustaining projects that restore dignity and purpose.
Our impact grew not only through programs but also through the power of volunteers. Young people from the U.S., Canada, and Australia join us each summer, finding meaning and connection despite language barriers. These encounters transform lives on both sides, leaving
a mark that lasts far beyond the trip.
Today, Light for All runs 26 active programs, and our vision continues to grow. We believe real change starts with a dream, and with your support, we can reach even more children and families in need.
Join us in spreading light, hope, and opportunity to every corner of the world. Together, dreams come true, and transformation becomes possible.

Light For All
We Light for All refuse to turn a blind eye to this dark reality. Our mission is to bring a ray of hope into the lives of these children. Beyond simply improving literacy rates, we are committed to elevating lives in every aspect.
Today, we have launched approximately 26 programs that address every facet of life. From toddlers to adults, our meticulously crafted programs aim to foster good health, well-being, and education at every stage of life. As for our girls, they receive more than just education; we prioritize empowering them in every conceivable manner. This is because they deserve greater inclusion in the Egyptian society and opportunities to thrive.
