Light for All USA, in partnership with Martyria Foundation for Culture and Development, is launching a campaign to raise $50,000 to support 12,000 girls across Egypt.

Through this initiative, girls will receive menstrual health education and access to safe, reusable sanitary pads, empowering them to stay in school and pursue their dreams with dignity. Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive without barriers.
In underserved communities across Egypt, particularly in low-income districts within Greater Cairo, Giza, Qalioubia, Alexandria, Suez, Minya, and Beni Suef, many adolescent girls face significant challenges managing their menstrual health. Limited access to menstrual hygiene pads and education often forces girls to miss school every month, putting their education and confidence at risk.
Meet Nour
Nour, a 14-year-old girl from Beni Suef, Egypt, struggles to access basic menstrual sanitary pads. As a result, she often has to miss school.
Nour is not alone. 12,000 girls face the same challenge.
